stiltharvard club brownbagger - Harvard Law School professor Kristen Stilt

It’s almost J-Term time again at Richardson Law School. Please join us for a brown bag lunch with this year’s visiting Harvard Law School professor Kristen Stilt, on Thursday, Jan. 12th at 12:15 at the Law School.

Professor Stilt directs Harvard Law's new animal law program, which is growing rapidly and benefitting from major gifts. Click here for a recent article from the Harvard Gazette.

Interestingly, Prof. Stilt’s primary field is Islamic law. But a more recent interest, the legal rights of animals, and the prevention of their alarming suffering, inspired her to direct the animal law program.

Bring your guests, and your questions about animal rights. And bring your lunch, which needs not be vegetarian  😉

My thanks, as always, to Richardson Law School Dean Avi Soifer who, although a Yale man, graciously hosts these events for us. He will leave us notes directing us to the event classroom.

Caution: the usual parking problems will be compounded by the current reconstruction of the Law School parking lot. Caveat Auriga.
