Keli’i Akina, a returning Harvard Club speaker, is one of Hawaii's most perceptive and articulate public figures. He is Trustee-at-Large of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), and President & CEO of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii. A graduate of Kamehameha Schools and Northwestern University, Dr. Akina advises on policy and state and national levels, has lectured in China, has taught on the faculties of HPU and UH, and is a Pacific Century Fellow. His recent Wall Street Journal article was widely and positively commented on.
